Encyclopedia of SCUBA Terms

This encyclopedia of SCUBA Terms was created as a companion piece for my course titled "Interested in SCUBA diving? Here's what you should know." 

As such, the purpose of this encyclopedia is to provide definitions, picture or video examples, and/or appropriate links for relevant terms related to a general interest in learning to SCUBA dive. 

Therefore, you will find a thorough list of terms related to entry-level diving. More advanced forms of diving will include terms that provide a general overview of the topic.

Terms may be written in the form of an acronym/abbreviation or words. The form that is more commonly used within the industry is the one used as the term's title, but it will be followed by a more detailed explanation.
